Resources for Judges
Judges are the anchor of every CASA program and of every CASA assignment. Judges give CASA volunteers the authority and access to observe and advocate for children. The support of the judiciary is critically important in the success of established CASA programs and in the inception of new programs.

The National Court Appointed Special Advocates Association (CASA) hosts a website (www.casaforchildren.org) that has useful information for judges. The National CASA Association devotes a section of its website for judges; please see Judges’ Pages.

The National CASA Association also has a Judge’s Guide to CASA/GAL Program Development (PDF file).
